Classes are Skills-based and are intended to help students re-learn material that may have been covered during the last school year. Skills covered will also prepare students for the material included on the SAT and ACT.

Topics will include how to build vocabulary skills, finding evidence, main ideas, thesis development, paragraph construction and conclusion.
- Class Session 1: Vocabulary 1 and 2; Main ideas; Context; Evidence
- Class Session 2: Vocabulary 3 and 4; Using direct information and other information to “decode” meaning; taking words apart
- Class Session 3: Putting it all together to write the best essays and papers ever; choosing a thesis or using a prompt.
- Class Session 4: Introductions, paragraphs, and conclusions. Writing for College.
