ACADEMIC SUCCESS PROGRAM
ALGEBRA 1

Classes are Skills-based and are intended to help students re-learn material that may have been covered during the last school year. Skills covered will also prepare students for the material included on the SAT and ACT.

Subjects covered will include the Foundations of Algebra, Pre-Algebra skills, Linear, Quadratic, exponential and polynomial equations and functions; manipulating polynomials using addition, subtraction, multiplication and factoring.

Class Session 1: The Foundations of Algebra and Pre-Algebra; Linear Expressions, Equations and Inequalities
Class Session 2: Linear Functions and Arithmetic Sequences; Systems of Linear Equations and Inequalities
Class Session 3: Exponents; Polynomials; Statistics
Class Session 4: Review Functions and Modeling; Overall review
