Petia joins our team with extensive experience teaching high school and college level math and English. Through her 20+ years of teaching, the highlight for her has been watching her students improve their grades and ultimately get into the college of their choice, knowing that she sent them off with increased confidence and the skills to succeed. For Petia, math is like a game – it’s exciting, once you know the rules, so she makes the learning process fun! She instills this love for math in her students, helping them excel in the subject. In her free time, Petia enjoys travel, hiking, crossword puzzles, learning about other cultures and customs, and she volunteers at the Tennyson Center for Children on a regular basis.
