Alex is a tutor with experience and enthusiasm in all subject areas.  He received his B.S. in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines, then went on to earn his Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of Kansas.  He has extensive experience tutoring all parts of the ACT and SAT, with over 5 years of helping students.  He also has tutored students in various other topics, including SAT Subject Tests, the Biology section of the MCAT, and various AP tests.  In his free time, Alex likes to spend time with his wife and cat, travel, and enjoy the outdoors.”
